The Astronomical Clock at Lunds Cathedral
The astronomical clock in Lunds cathedral was originally constructed sometime in the beginning of the fifteenth century. The Latin name is "Horologium Mirabile Lundense".
This clock is a very rare piece of technology. There is only three more like it in Europe. An astronomical clock is a device that shows astronomical information of various kind.
Twice a day the clock activates a sequence in which it automatically plays the hymn "In Dulci Jubilo" from a small organ hidden inside the actual clock. This is what you can hear in this recording.
