Traffic lights – Soundscape
The world’s first traffic light was installed in London in 1868. The first in Sweden became operational in 1925. Sound signals to indicate when you can cross the street have been in use since the early 20th century. There are many different versions of this signal but this is perhaps one the more common and well known versions.
