Ranta-Tampella (biking)

Ranta-Tampella is a new area in the north side of Tampere center. The land is partially a relocation of ground that came from the Tampere’s tunnel which was used to expand the lake coast to allow new buildings to be constructed. Through the center of the area an artificial canal has been created.

The area has become a popular biking way, because of the wonderful view of Näsi-lake and Näsineula.

In the audio the construction zone can be heard and also the sound of the bicycle I was riding while recording.
