Keitelejazz Volunteer Work V: Lifting the Main Tent Pole
Keitelejazz is a summer jazz festival held in the small town of Äänekoski Finland. First Keitelejazz was held in 1985 and the festival has then grown steadily in size gathering international artists to perform in it.
Most of the work behind the festival is done by volunteers with the jobs ranging from tractor drivers to handymen and waiting staff.
In the recording you can hear the lifting of the main pole of the festival tent. The pole is lifted by a tractor. In the background you can hear the volunteer workers installing securing poles into the ground manually by a sledgehammer.
