Blacksmith Working at Möhkön Ruukki

In the recording you will hear the traditional blacksmith working with iron in Möhkö, Ilomantsi Finland.

There are different individual sounds of the smithing process that can be heard: heating of the iron in the forge, molding the iron into shape with hammer and an anvil and the use of the bellows to control the amount of heat in the forge.
