Voting for the change
The Finnish parliamentary election was held in 14.4.2019. While the election campaign can be full of noise, the actual voting is rather quiet happening. In the beginning of the recording the usher points people to go to the right voting place for their district "39 to the right". Voters stand in cue and wait their turn, perhaps taking their id-cards or other documents already in hand. The peep-sound comes from the registrating machine, which means that they are eligible for voting. They are handed the voting ballot and if they need help in voting, there is a assistant there. Normally voters just go to the next vacant booth, draw the number of their choice (4:15-4.16 in the recording), go to the next table to get it stamped and slip the ballot in the box (4:25 in the recording).
