Albi Circular Knitting Macine

Circular knitting machine that works with electricity and produces interlock knit fabric. 20 reels feed the yarn to the rotating cylinder that has 2x 1260 needles bedded in it. During the videoshoot the machine was producing fabric that was half cotton (white) and half polyester (pink). Machine produces 12 kilograms of tubular knitter fabric during 8 hour period. The machine is owned by textile company Tam-Silk Oy in Finland in Kangasala. The company has used this machine approximately since 1978.
