Brewery: pouring wort into a whirlpool (5)
Sounds of wort being poured into a whirlpool. The recording was made in the Ursa Maior brewery in Uherce Mineralne (Poland).
After boiling, wort is pumped into another vessel – the whirlpool. The objective is to remove any suspended matter from the liquid. During the centrifugation of the liquid coagulated protein and vegetable matter from hops is deposited on the floor.
Another step is to cool the wort and move it into the fermentation and conditioning tanks.
Ursa Maior jest is a microbrewery, where the beer is produced according to the brewery’s original recipes. The entire production process lasts about a month, the beer is unpasteurized and unfiltered.
