Gdynia Port – the main entrance to the port
Sounds recorded at the main entrance of ships into the harbour. The construction of the port began in 1921 and Gdynia became the largest engineering investment of the Second Polish Republic. The construction of the port was a priority for the authorities of the newly restored Poland because it allowed unrestricted access to the Baltic Sea. Today it is one of the three largest seaports in Poland.
