Häme bridge restructuration to make way for a new tram line continues in Tampere. In March 27, 2018 the Tammerkoski rapid was dried to allow the construction team to build a temporary working platform, making it possible for them to work under the bridge even when the rapids are still flowing.

Three excavators are working simultaneously: One, drilling the poles in to the ground, the second passing the poles and the third moving big rocks away from the drilling zone.
Works will continue until the end of 2019.
