Fiaker is a horse-drawn four-wheeled carriage for hire. In Vienna such cabs were called fiaker.
This recording was made at a fiaker stand at Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) which is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna and the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna
You can find fiaker stands in different areas of the city: Stephansplatz, Heldenplatz (occasionally Michaelerplatz), Albertinaplatz, Petersplatz and Burgtheater.
