Train destination indicator
The mechanical train destination indicator probably dates back to the 1940s and displayed information about the destinations of arriving and departing trains at train stations of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (German Reich Railway). Today it counts among the exhibits of the Dahlhausen Railway Museum and shows the information about the museum rides with historic trains.
The sound of the train destination indicator was made when the station master changed the signs by use of a lever system in order to update the train information.
