Old Light Switch

This is a light switch that has a sound and appearance that is very common to many Finns. It is a rotary switch that is found in many Rintamamiestalos.

Rintamamiestalo is hard to translate but short version in english would be ”veteran’s house”. Longer version being ”Type of detached house build after the Second World War for the families of soldiers who fought in the battlefront”.

These kinds of houses are still very common especially in smaller towns and villages.
