Seffle boat engine
This hot bulb engine was recorded in action during a boat trip at Jäders bruk. The Seffle engine was built in 1950 by the Swedish Seffle engine company, and it still resides in its’ original position in a boat with a welded hull that operated in the Swedish logging trails. The starting handle on the flywheel is a bit tricky on the recording. When the engine starts it goes wrong way but by decreasing the speed it’s possible to turn the rotation of the engine.
