Starting up the 1,198 cc Lada engine. Ladas sold in Finland had different engines ranging from the original 1,2 L carburetor version to 1,7 L single point fuel injection export models.

The most common Lada engine was the original one that can also be heard in the audio. It had the maximum power output of 60 horsepowers.
