Strike – Slovenian public workers
About 30,000 Slovenian public workers including customs officers, nurses, social workers and university professors started a one-day strike on 24th January 2018 to demand higher wages. The crowed of about 2000 people protested for more pay in front of the government building in the capital city Ljubljana at noon, singing, blowing whistles and carrying banners which said: "Higher wages to all, not just the elites" and "Give us back what you took from us". The strike was organised by several unions.
Sound: blowing whistles, people cheering and talking, singing the Internazionale song in Slovene language.
