The Rantatunneli Of Tampere

The Rantatunneli (eng. Tampere Tunnel) was opened in November 15, 2016 after three years of excavation and building underground. The tunnel is 2,3 km long and it pass 20 meters under the Tammerkoski rapids.

The Tampere Tunnel is the longest tunnel road in Finland.

Cars come and go every day, the tunnel is always open being the linking road from east to west Tampere.
