The crackling sound of a record player…..
This is the sound of a vinyl record playing “after the record is done”. That is the needle is scratching against no playable track on the vinyl record. This is a sound that´s coming back in style so to speak, as we now see a big resurgence of the vinyl record. As a sound effect, this sound has been quite common in horror movies.
