Wheelwright: wood polishing
The sound of polishing wood with sandpaper. The recording was realized in the National Museum of Agriculture and Agricultural-Food Industry in Szreniawa (Poland).
A wheelwright is polishing and smoothing the wood with the use of sandpaper. This activity is done before painting the wood. During the recording, carriage mudguard was being polished.
Recorded activity was performed by a trained craftsman. Tools are original and dates back to 1970s.
